1. Little Miss had a birthday this week. She is THREE and she proudly holds up three fingers (takes a few minutes to get them in position 😀 but she is successful). She is doing very well.
2. Last night we went to the local Culver's with Little Miss and her family, and my mother, for a last celebration for her birthday. And Little Mister, now eight months old, sat up proudly in a restaurant high chair for the first time! He's waving and clapping, and is a happy boy. We're so thankful for both of them.
3. I was very busy the first half of this week. But Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are moving much more quietly. I'm happy for a few very free days.
4. I am studying Lies Women Believe in order to be the substitute at our church's Wednesday evening ladies' Bible studies this summer. I've taught the book for three years at a local women's addiction program, but teaching to churched ladies means bringing out different concepts and presenting in a different way. It's been a challenge and one I've enjoyed.
5. I've got several new books to read. That's always fun. I joined a book club at church and have enjoyed that very much also.
Happy Friday and God's blessings!

Hi Ann! So nice to see you post again! That looks like a wonderful study and you sound like you've been able to handle the challenge of adapting it to different groups well. Little Miss and Little Mister sound adorable. What a joy you get to celebrate their milestones. Books are always a blessing!
Good to see you at FFF again! I knew about Little Miss--somehow I think I missed or forgot about Little Mister. It's so fun you get to live near them. We just got a Culver's nearby--good stuff. Their parking lot is always full, so it looks like they are a success here. I've heard great things about that book, but have never read it. That's an interesting thought, that different groups would bring out different emphases.
I don't know what a Culver's is but I'm guessing some kind of restaurant or ice cream place. I live in eastern NYS (up near the capital) and we don't have anything by that name.
Your grands sound adorable!
I enjoyed that book.....I read most of it but didn't do it as a study. I am a small group leader with my church and lead a book group here in my home as most of us no longer want to do traditional Bible study books. We are currently wrapping up with Priscilla Shirer's book I Surrender All. Its' phenomenal and leads to some good discussion. in the fall we will do a more traditional one ...Joyce Meyer's new one that just came out in April!
Happy Long Weekend!
Welcome back to FFF! When I saw your name, I smiled, hoping it was you.
Happy Birthday to Little Miss! Aren't grandchildren a delight?
Right now, I'm reading Liturgy of the Ordinary by Trish Harrison Warren with four friends who meet on zoom weekly as we now live in three different places. I'm glad you have your book club to enjoy reading and fellowship.
