The plate of food looks so good that I've put hashbrowns on my shopping list for this weekend!
On Saturday another couple and we plan to go about an hour away to a monthly fried chicken and/or fried fish meal (both excellent), served in a huge gym for a charity we are not excited about. Only other foods on the menu are white beans, cole slaw, French fries, hush puppies and sweet, sweet tea. You can eat all you want so it is a real pig-out place. We've been about three other times and everytime say that is the last time. People flock there in droves. This couple is new in the area and wanted to go. An added attraction is going through Courtland to see the approx fifteen old homes on the National Historic Register. We have a description brochure guide.
