Feeder Birds

Big assortment - Carolina Chickadee, house finches, and a downy woodpecker.

I thought these two male cardinals looking right at me were worthy of a photo.

New this morning - a red-bellied woodpecker at the suet bag!

That's funny -- at mine they never group together like that thought there's room for several of them at once.

That's interesting that you have house finches because I thought all the house finches in Anderson County feast at our feeders. I learned early on that "there is no such thing as a free lunch." The finches prove that saying in error. They are quite interesting to watch as the peck order is apparent. We've had a few cardinals and quite a few mourning doves eating the leftovers on the ground. We are in need of trees and bushes to attract a greater variety of birds.
