My daughter started her field placement last week. She works in an elementary classroom 6 hours weekly. Here she is with her official badge from the school. She looks very professional!
Very nice! We didn't have such things when I was in school. We didn't teach until student teaching as a senior -- and I have known more than one senior, myself included, who decided we weren't cut out for teaching after all afterward. It's wise to have some of those smaller teaching experiences before the big one at the end.

I agree, Barbara. It was tough not starting in the classroom until student teaching. So far she is having a great experience.
