Glad to hear about the canned sour cherries. I will look for them here. If I can't find them I may have to stock up when I visit SC. I'm guessing with the liquid in the can I couldn't take on board a plane.
Rhoda - They were the Oregon brand. I can't remember if they were with canned fruit or pie filling but am thinking just plain fruit. You're probably right about the liquid. Want me to mail you a can? :-)
